some nice Islamic reminder

GREAT advice! “When you see someone who is not as religious, remember that you were once on the edge of the fire, and it was Allah Subhaana wa Ta’ala’s favor upon you to guide you. Arrogance will wipe away any goodness from the transformation.” ** Ustad Nouman Ali Khan ** --Anger Management Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) instructed the one in anger to recite ta’awwudh (A‘ūdhū billāhi min al shaytani al rajīm - I seek refuge in Allāh from the rejected devil). Salmān bin Ṣard (may Allah be pleased with him) said, “I was seated with the Prophet (peace and blessings upon him) while two men were using coarse language at each other. The face of one of them had gone red while his jugular veins swelled. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings upon him) said, ‘I know of a statement if he is to say it, that [rage] which he is experiencing would go away. If only he would say “A‘ūdhū billāhi min al Shaytani al rajīm’” (Sunan Abī Dawūd and Tirmidhī) Some other things you may do to calm yourself down are listed below: • Make wudhū (ablution) [See: Musnad Ahmad]. • Make supplication to Allah to protect you from the harms of anger and rage. • Make the dhikr (remembrance) of Allah. • Realize that this will be over sooner or later. • Improve your problem solving and communication. • Accept your mistakes and be honest to yourself. • Learn to forgive and forget. May Allah facilitate success. --HIJAAB: And say to the believing women that they cast down their looks and guard their private parts and do not display their ornaments except what appears thereof, and let them wear their head-coverings over their bosoms, [Quran 24:31] Aisha (ra) mentioned the women of Ansar, praised them and said good words about them. She then said: When Surat an-Nur (wear their head-coverings over their bosoms,) came down, they took the curtains, tore them and made head covers of them. [Abu Dawood 32:4089] Harsh wordings and rudeness is not the way by which Islam was Preached. In 23 years of Prophet’s Mohammed(sws) Islamic preaching, not one word of Harshness or insult could be found. “Invite to the way of your Lord with wisdom and good advice, and debate with them in the most dignified manner. Your Lord is aware of those who stray from His path, and He is aware of those who are guided.” [Quran 16:125] may Allah help Us to be better Moslem.
